Feathery Friend's Second Day

Their Second Day!
It's the second day of the love birds! Yay! There are some changes that happened. Yesterday, Papa blocked the entrance to the birds' wooden box. Dad did that because they always hide there and would never go out meet and greet with us. So, yeah that's done. Another one is I could see the couple and they are not hiding anymore! Earlier, as I am watching them from the door, they stood at the corner of the enclosure. As always, they make loud noises. But they're cute and they look well together. They play and roam around their house. I watch them eat their bird seeds and drink water.

My birdies are adapting to their new home, a bit nicely. But they really want to hide in their box. Especially when they see me. (Am I really that scary? Probably. A bit) The birds always fly around the cage and would hang onto the steel enclosure when they are startled. Dad said that they'll calm down when you call them, mimicking their voice. He said that cat calling them in a soft tone would calm them down, but it's hard for me to do. Instead, I came up with another way, whistling. Whistling like the bird's voice also. It kinda works for them, I think. Hopefully, next week they'll be familiar with me, and never be stressed and scared from me.

As I've said, they're so cute! Like now that they're asleep. The male bird leans on the female bird that made it even more cute! I noticed also that the bird also opens and closes their beak, as if they're talking en though they are sleeping.

These are all of the bird updates for now. As I'm typing, they are now awake which means there's more incoming noises ad cuteness. Thank you so much for reading! Don't forget to come back and read my latest posts here on my blog.

I still don't have a name for them yet so any suggestions would be appreciated. And also a correction, their colors are white and greyish blue (I can't tell because of the light) which is the male bird, and the yellow and green bird which is the female bird. They are also an African love birds. Until the next post! Bye!
