Happiest Day of my Crochet Life!!

I got home from a very busy and stressful school. But then I opened my Ravelry Account, and got a message from someone. I read it and I was shocked of what I saw. Lee Ives, a very generous ravelry friend, bought a pattern from Aradiyatoys and gifted it to me.. August 15 is my birthday but I got an early birthday gift. Lee if you are reading, thank you so much for the gift. I hope you could make other people as happy as me. Even now that I am typing this, I'm still so happy.

Lee Ives designed the Home Sweet Home filet crochet pattern. You could visit her website, here.
Or on her Ravelry Account, here. You could also make her Home Sweet Home filet crochet, if you wish.

It's Done!!!

This is my first ever filet crochet and I am so happy... This is what it looked like..

My Home Sweet Home is now done but it has not been blocked and haven't added a border line, as you can see in the picture, but I would get to that when I have the time and I don't have a mat to place it onto.. I will be making another filet crochet so come back next week for more crochet projects..
Bye!!! :)

Sorry if it is too short. I hope you still liked it. If you also wanted  to make this pattern yourself, you could go to Lee Ives' Ravelry account, here. Thank you for reading.

Filet Crochet

Hello everyone, and welcome back to another crochet project. As you have read earlier I made the Home Sweet Home Filet Crochet from Lee Ives. She made it in color white but I made mine green. I am at the underneath letters of the SWEET letters.

I finished the HOME letters yesterday evening. After I post this I would be continuing this filet crohet so that I could finish it early. And I can add the borders outside. If you are also going to make this, you have to block this so that it lays flat.

That'S all for today. I hope you like my contents, if you do please help me with these patterns on my wishlist. It is much appreciated. Come back next week for another crochet projects. Have a great day! Goodbye!! :)

A New Discovery

Yesterday, after I posted my content, I went to ravelry to view my favorites and then I saw that I have a favorite pattern that has Filet Crochet. I did not know when I added that to my favorites but it made me curious of what the concept of it was. So I opened google next and typed Filet Crochet then I clicked the one which would take you to craftsy, and the I read all the information that is with it. After that I printed the pattern that is in my favorites and made the project. Here is what it's looking like so far.

This was a pattern from Lee Ives. It is the Home Sweet Home Filet Crochet. It uses a 1.3 mm crochet hook and uses a thread.

Next week, I would update you of what it looks like so stay tuned for more crochet projects. Have a Great Day! :) Bye!!

I'm Back!!!!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. First of all, as you can see in my blog I changed backgrounds. I liked this picture because it makes the background more colorful and fitting for my contents. It also has different designs. But let me know if it bothers you or anything.

I made two doilies that I liked the designs but it is from Notikaland and Creative Grandma from youtube. Actually, the one that I made from Notikaland is a crochet motif for a table cloth but it is also a doily.

This is the Fanfare doily that I made:

It is made from monaco thread in color light green and I used a size 1 or 1.60 mm steel crochet hook . This is the first ever doily that I made and I made it roughly 7 hours or so. It also has 11 rows... Anyway this is a video tutorial on youtube, click here or you could go to her website and look for more beautiful and unique patterns, click here.

Next one is the doily motif:

It is also made from a monaco thread in color pink and I used a size 1 or 1.60 mm steel crochet hook . Unlike the first doily, I made it in 2 days. It is easy to do and it only has 9 rows. If you also want to make this doily/motif, you can find it the first part. here, and the second part, here.

Also, if you liked my contents please help me in my wishlists on Ravelry, I really want any of the pattern. Thank you for your help! :)

My Wishlist is here.

That is all the projects that I have made for now. Be sure to come backe next time for another crochet and knitting projects. Have a great day!

Project Updates

Hi. I am back for another post for you and this time (as you have read in the title) it's project updates. I'm coming from a sunny but a bit cloudy Philippines. Thank you for giving your time on reading my blog posts, I hope I could always make you happy with just this simple contents.

I am making another project. It is my crochet hook case but it is like my own crochet hook but just a smaller version. I wanted it to have a zipper and a flap so that it has a cover. As usual, I am making it with a Monaco Thread in colors of green and peach. The colors was inspired by the After The Rain Socks from Becky Sorensen.
She is a very talented girl, I hope I could be as talented as her.

I also made 1up mushroom from Olka Novytska. It has a color green and white spots. I think I just messed up the white bits of its eyes. But I still really love it. Sorry if it's glowing too much.

If you enjoy what I post, I hope you could help me with my wishlist on Ravelry. Any of those would make me really happy. You could grant it for me as a birthday gift or as a thank you.

Crochet and Knitting projects

Hello everyone, my name is Alinsky and welcome back to my newly made post. I am coming to you from a sunny morning here at Manila, Philippines. Yesterday I posted my first ever content for my blog and was happy to you all who viewed and read it. Today I would like to talk about my Crochet and Knitting WIPs (work in progress) Projects.

My Crochet WIP:
1.  My own pencil case

                   © CraftyAlinsky

This one is a crochet pattern and design by me. It is just a series of one row of single crochets then three rows of double crochet. I used Steel Crochet Hook number 1, which is 1.60 mm crochet hook. The Thread I am using is a Monaco Thread in the Shade B21 and Dye Lot PC89315. I bought the yarn at a local yarn shop.

My Knitting WIP:
1. My Coziest Memories Blanket

                     © CraftyAlinsky

This is my ongoing project, it is The Coziest Memory by Kemper Wray from Junkyarn Designs. It uses scrap yarns from leftover sock yarn projects. As you could see in the picture it is not long enough to be a blanket, but do not worry because I would add more squares to it. I used a 4mm straight knitting needles. It is larger than what the pattern calls for. The yarns I am using are a 4ply Handknitting Yarns and it is approximately 18 grams but it doesn't have to be that much. You just need 5-6 grams if you are using the exact needle in the pattern.

The Coziest Memory is a free pattern on Ravelry that you can download for free.

That is all the projects I have for now. If you liked this feel free to comment and visit my Ravelry account. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for the my next post. Goodbye and have a great day! :)
